Barbie Collector Silver Label - The Flintstones (Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm) Review

This is a Silver Label offering from the Barbie Collector's "Pop Culture" series. The Kelly and Tommy dolls are costumed to resemble the adorable baby duo of Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm from the long-running classic cartoon series THE FLINTSTONES.

It's always unusual to see red-headed Kelly dolls, so for the serious Kelly collectors this will be double the treat. Dressed in Pebbles' trademark pink and purple two-piece baby romper, the doll also has her hair styled into a high ponytail with a "bone" hairpiece. The Tommy doll wears Bamm-Bamm's yellow one-strap baby romper with matching hat, and also carries his wooden club.

The dolls are nicely posed standing on a fluffy blue rug, with a cardboard cut-out of their sleepy pet Dino in the background. Far too nice to de-box! A great piece for the celebrity doll crowd!

This doll is simply gorgeous! This is the prettiest, best-designed Barbie doll I have ever seen. Everything about her is just beautiful - she has a beautiful charming face with very pretty features and a sweet smile, and she is the only Barbie doll I've ever seen (other than All That Jazz Barbie) that has real, glued on eyelashes rather than painted on ones. She has thick curly dark brown hair with subtle, barely visible auburn highlits...also, the most beautiful hair I've ever seen on a Barbie doll. Her costume, shoes and headpiece with feathers are simply stunning and extremely well designed - beautiful bright colors, the prettiest shades od purple and pink (fuchsia), metallic accents, embroidery, lots of sequins, glitter...a truly festive, beautiful Carnaval costume, and I love that her face makeup (especially her lipstick) and her body makeup match the costume perfectly. I also love that she's not quite as skinny as other Barbie dolls, she has curves. Gorgeous, gorgeous doll! My favorite doll in my entire Barbie collection.
